2018 Baseball Schedule Released

Tigers home opener will be the earliest ever at Comerica Park

The Tigers begin the 2018 season at home with an interleague matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates March 29, the earliest opening day in the history of Comerica Park.

The series against the Pirates is part of a six-game homestand which includes a series with the Kansas City Royals.  

The Blue Jays will visit Comerica Park the first weekend in June, and the Tigers will head to Toronto for a four game series, between June 29th and July 2nd.

The Tigers will visit Justin Verlander and the Houston Astros July 13-15 in their last action before the All-Star Game in Washington D.C.

Detroit also has interleague matchups with the Cincinnati Reds  the Chicago Cubs, the St. Louis Cardinals and ends the season in Milwaukee against the Brewers September 28-30.
