The plant manager for the Windsor Assembly Plant is looking forward to 2017.
Michael Brieda says one highlight will be the official launch of the Chrysler Hybrid Pacifica.
He says 2017 will also mark a larger international presence for the Windsor-built minivan.
Brieda says the automaker plans to unveil more features.
"Going into next year, there's always different options that are introduced to a vehicle right that our consumers are looking for and we're growing more international as well," says Brieda.
Brieda says a hybrid model of the Pacifica will be available in 2017.
"We start building the plug in electric hybrid version of the minivan so more new challenge but something again something we're excited to be apart of building electrified minivans, we're the only ones that build them and being part of that within the world is really great," says Brieda.
The Chrysler Pacifica was launched in April, replacing the Chrysler Town & Country.
The assembly plant still builds the Dodge Caravan.
