A stand off in west Windsor is over.
City police were called around 7:15pm Sunday to a residential building in the area of McKay Avenue and Rooney Street, near Adie Knox Arena.
When police got to the scene they spoke to witnesses who had been inside the residence in question and learned a man barricading himself inside may have a weapon.
The involved residence was a multi-unit building and police say occupants from the other units were evacuated for their safety.
Police say because of how long officers were on scene, WPS requested the assistance of the OPP who arrived on scene Monday morning.
The stand off came to an end around 12:30pm on Monday.
The man was arrested without incident.
As of now, no charges have been laid but the investigation continues.
