The top of the steeple at St. Anne Church in Tecumseh will be going up again.
Father Eugene Roy says the parish and community are hoping and praying that the weather conditions are calm and serene the week of November 6th.
He says during that week, crews will delicately lift the belfry with a crane and place it on the steeple.
The belfry has been sitting on the church's front lawn for a decade due to structural concerns.
Father Roy says the parish can't wait. "The whole town is excited, we just are so elated to see it back up again and of course, it is the last part of an entire project that we have been working with on our whole structure."
The church had to raise $2.5-million as part of the restoration project with local philanthropist Alan Quesnel donating $1.25-million to the effort.
The church has been in the community for 144 years.
