The 61-year-old is the Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Nipissing and serves as the party's finance critic.
Fedeli fielded questions from reporters this afternoon and hasn't immediately made it clear if he'll be staying on to lead the party during the upcoming provincial election.
Fedeli says it's up to the party's executive to decide if a leadership convention is necessary.
Fedeli won a seat for Ontario's PCs in 2011 after serving two terms as mayor in his home town of North Bay.
