One person has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash in LaSalle.
The OPP were called around 1pm on Thursday, January 18 for a crash between a dump truck and SUV.
"We had a black SUV that was southbound on Howard Ave. and it apparently crossed the centreline and it was struck by a dump truck travelling northbound on Howard Ave," says OPP Constable Jim Root.
The driver of the SUV was sent to hospital while the driver of the dump truck was not hurt.
"It is my understanding that there was a dog in the SUV," says Root. "But he is fine."
But Humane Society Executive Director Melanie Coulter says the dog was taken to the vet.
