WINDSOR — The investigation continues into a robbery in downtown Windsor that sparked an emergency police situation.
An officer nearby at the Ouellette Campus of Windsor Regional Hospital then reported a man going into the emergency department with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Police say the victim had arrived in a Ford Escort that was seized as part of the investigation and learned the injury was related to a possible armed robbery on Pelissier St.
Members of the Forensic Identification Unit processed the two scenes, but a gun was not recovered.
The Major Crime Branch continues to investigate.
